Major Mohommed Ali Shah

Major Ali did his schooling from Lawrence School, Lovedale. He graduated from Fergusson College, Pune and is a proud alumnus of IIM Calcutta.

He joined the Short Service Commission in the Army and received a commendation card for exceptional service while serving with the Assam Rifles in the North East. His military background made him a sought-after defence expert and analyst on national news panels.

He enacted his first play when he was 5 years old and has stayed close to acting ever since. His film work includes ‘Haider’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Broken Window’, ‘Agent Vinod’ and ‘Yaara’. He has also worked in web series such as ‘Avrodh’. Currently, he serves on the Board of International Film Festival of Australia and is a visiting faculty member at Subhash Ghai's ‘Whistling Woods International’.

Major Ali has delivered the highest number of TEDx talks in India and the world. He has spoken at international and national platforms, including two JOSH Talks. He has also conducted training sessions for corporates and students as a Lifestyle and Wellness Coach.
