Dr. P D Bhutia

Dr. P D Bhutia is currently attached to the Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre, Siliguri as Senior Consultant Internal Medicine.

He brings in vast experience garnered by his years of association with multiple hospitals and health care centers across the country. His interest in cardiology coupled with his training with Apollo Hospitals in Advanced Cardiology and close collaboration with renowned cardiologists has helped him excel in this field.

He is registered with the Indian Medical Association, the Association of Physicians of India and the Gastroenterology Society of India. He is presently involved in research on reducing chest infections among tea garden workers in North Bengal with the Indian Council of Medical Research. He is also a participant in the EDGE Study, a major trial in the field of diabetes.

Dr. Bhutia is the proud recipient of the Distinguished Bangaratna Sanman and the Bishishta Chikitasha Samman from the Government of West Bengal. A keen environmentalist and nature lover, he is passionate about organic farming and the preservation of natural resources.
