Beyond Academics

Little Officers

A speaking and leadership programme puts students in front of an audience from Class II onwards. It is graded by age, judged on clarity and built on the belief that responsibility is learnt by taking it on.

The idea

Students who can hold a room are ready to take responsibility.

Graded by age, not by year

Each age group has its own expectations for content, length and delivery.

Prepared and impromptu

Rehearsed rounds build craft. Surprise Talks test whether a student can think and speak at the same time.

Real subjects

Students speak on substantial topics such as sustainability goals, nuclear energy, emergency management and geography.
