Mrs. Anubha Goyal began her teaching career in 1981 and has taught in some of the best schools of the country. She was the founding Principal of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School, Guwahati which she helped set up in 2003 and continued there till 2014. She then moved to Royal Global School where she still serves as Principal.
Mrs. Goyal is the proud recipient of the prestigious ‘CBSE Award to Mentors’ awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Govt. of India in 2012 in public recognition of her valuable and commendable services rendered to the community for the cause of education as a Mentor of outstanding merit.
Nonconventional and progressive, her aim as an educator has been to mould young minds into confident, responsible, and competent individuals ready to face the challenges of life and serve the nation efficiently. A strict disciplinarian, firm yet loving, she has been an excellent leader and an able administrator who has been effectively guiding and motivating her teachers, staff, and students alike.
Mrs. Goyal recognizes the unique individuality of each child and strongly believes that school education lays the foundation for the future of the child to ensure a steady, successful, and contented life. A teacher who has touched hundreds of lives, she truly embodies the maxim “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” as said by Malcolm X.
An avid reader, a motivational speaker and a keen learner, she is open to adopting new ideas and implementing them. She has been a guest speaker in many events and webinars including the TED Talk. She leaves an unforgettable impression in the minds of all the people she comes across.
